This graph shows a UV spectrum collected 2 cm above the Extrovert Cliff cold seep in Monterey Bay (see below).  Deconvolution of the spectra shows the presence of 88 µM HS- in the water column above the cold seep.  From Johnson and Coletti (In press, Deep-Sea Research I).
