Shawnee Traylor is a Postdoc Fellow, working with Ken Johnson. Her focus is on Global Investigations into Marine Carbon Sequestration via the BGC-Argo array. By leveraging data from GO-BGC and the global BGCArgo array Shawnee investigates global carbon sequestration efficiency via the BCP. Shawnee recently completed her doctoral work on Chemical Oceanography from the MIT-WHOI joint program. Her work focused on the use of dissolved gases as tracers of carbon cycling in the marine environment, with a strong focus on the processes that directly influence global climate.
