Chris comes to MBARI from Moss Landing Marine Labs where he was a research technician.  Chris has a MS in Instructional Science and Technology and a BS is Biological Science.  During his time at MLML he operated, performed maintenance, and troubleshot small research vessels.  He was in charge of their ambient water chemistry sensors.  He also worked on electrofishing vessels where he was in charge of collecting samples and configuring the electrofishing equipment to work under different environmental conditions.  His hobbies include repairing broken electronic devices such as Nintendo Game Boy systems and smart TVs.
