Logan joins MBARI as a Research Technician. He has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences from UCSC, and recently earned his master’s degree in Marine Science from Moss Landing Marine Laboratories. Logan’s thesis work focused on understanding and characterizing hydrodynamic conditions and turbulent dissipation rates within giant kelp forests. At MBARI, Logan contributes to data management of biogeochemical profiling floats deployed within the GO-BGC (Global Ocean Biogeochemical) float array.
