Fernanda is a mechanical engineer who recently received her Master’s degree from Pontificia Universidad Catolica in Santiago, Chile.  Fernanda previously visited MBARI when she worked as a collaborator with the CoMPAS team in 2022.  Fernanda will be using her expertise in computer vision, in situ imaging, and robotics to advance particle-imaging instrument development in the Carbon Flux Ecology and Bioinspiration labs.
